1. Information We Collect

The Service is primarily informational — browsing exchange rates, news, and government circulars requires no account and no personal information. We only collect information you choose to submit to us, specifically:

• Contact form: name, mobile number, email address, subject, and message details, when you send us a query through the “Contact Us” form.
• Buy/Sell query requests: name, mobile number, email address, the currency and amount you're interested in, when you submit a currency buy/sell query.

The Calculator and Converter tools perform their calculations entirely on your device using publicly displayed exchange rates — no personal data is collected or transmitted when you use them.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your enquiries, complaints, or suggestions submitted via the Contact form.
• To process and follow up on currency buy/sell queries, including contacting you about the transaction.
• To send you a confirmation email acknowledging your submission.
• To notify our staff internally (by email and, for buy/sell queries, an internal messaging alert) so a representative can follow up with you.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of third-party services to operate the Service:

• Email delivery — to send confirmation and notification emails related to your submissions.
• Internal alert notification — a private messaging service used only to alert our own staff of a new buy/sell query; this is not a public channel and is not visible to other customers.
• Google Maps — embedded on our Contact Us page to show our office locations. Google's own privacy policy applies to your interaction with the embedded map.
• Content delivery networks (fonts and icon libraries) — used to load fonts and icons; these may receive standard technical request information (such as your IP address) as part of normal web delivery.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you submit to us from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain the information you submit through the Contact form or a buy/sell query only for as long as necessary to respond to you, complete the related transaction, and meet our recordkeeping obligations as a Bangladesh Bank–approved money changer.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

Our website uses a minimal session cookie required for staff sign-in to our back-office system; this does not apply to public visitors browsing rates, news, or circulars. The app may use your browser's local storage on your device (for example, to remember that you've already seen a notice popup) — this information stays on your device and is not sent to us.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

8. Your Rights

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request that we delete it, subject to any recordkeeping obligations we have as a licensed money changer.
